Note on GNI
GNI per capita (formerly GNP per capita) is the gross national income, converted to U.S. dollars using the World Bank Atlas method, divided by the midyear population. GNI is the sum of value added by all resident producers plus any product taxes (less subsidies) not included in the valuation of output plus net receipts of primary income (compensation of employees and property income) from abroad. GNI, calculated in national currency, is usually converted to U.S. dollars at official exchange rates for comparisons across economies, although an alternative rate is used when the official exchange rate is judged to diverge by an exceptionally large margin from the rate actually applied in international transactions. To smooth fluctuations in prices and exchange rates, a special Atlas method of conversion is used by the World Bank. This applies a conversion factor that averages the exchange rate for a given year and the two preceding years, adjusted for differences in rates of inflation between the country, and through 2000, the G-5 countries (France, Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States). From 2001, these countries include the Euro area, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

*A Proof of Status is required for the reduced rate of this registration category. Proof of Status is an official letter written and signed (by hand/ no electronic signature) by the head of department, hospital or academic institution, which confirms the status of the applicant. The document must be issued in English on official hospital/university letterhead and must be submitted to the Organising Secretariat before the relevant registration deadline.

Currency

All Congress Fees are calculated in EUR (€).
Participants from countries where currency restrictions prevent them from sending registration fees in advance are asked to inform the Congress Organising Secretariat to avoid being charged the late registration fee.

Certificate of Attendance

All registered participants who have attended the congress will receive a Certificate of Attendance via email after completing a survey.

Methods of payment

All payments are to be made in Euro (EUR). Bank charges are to be settled by the payer. Confirmation of services and payment invoices will be sent after receipt of the appropriate fees by e-mail to the address advised for communication.

Please note that late registration fees will apply for any payments received after the stated deadlines. Outstanding payments are to be made onsite during the Congress.

Payments via bank transfer are available on request for group bookings or payments by institutions. Please take particular note of the payment terms and note that all fees have to be settled prior to the beginning of the congress.

A copy of the bank transfer receipt is to be sent to the Organising Secretariat by e-mail at info@escap2027.eu for confirmation of the relevant bank transfer. Please indicate your name as well as the “ESCAP 2027” on your payment details for identification purposes. Upon payment, we will send you the respective confirmation.

Important information for payments by credit card

Due to the increased payment security measures followed by several banks around the world, you may be prompted to answer increased security questions, either to proceed with a transaction or to verify an initially declined transaction. It may also be advisable to try a different card in case your initial attempt is not successful. Please be assured that our team works continuously on always keeping in place the appropriate processes which ensure a safe, fast and seamless online payment experience for all. Registration Terms & Conditions

  • All registration fees are quoted in Euro (€) and taxes are included.
  • Invoices with an address in the European Union must be provided with a Tax Reg. No./ VAT number. The invoicing address and Tax Reg. No./ VAT number can be set up during the registration process.
  • Registration payments must be completed before the end of the selected registration deadline. If the payment is not submitted by the stated deadline, the fee will be changed to the one that corresponds to the next time period.
  • Kindly check the billing/receipt information that you have entered during the registration process. The bill/receipt will be issued on the given details within one month after your payment is complete. In case of any change of the information requested after the issuance of the receipt/bill there will be a handling fee of 20 € for the re-issuance of the receipt/bill.

Name change – Registration substitution
Name changes are subject to an administrative fee of 25€ and only possible prior to the cancellation of the preceding booking. Registrant substitutions of equal will be accepted only with written permission of the original registrant.  

Cancellation Policy
Any cancellation of participation must be notified in writing by e-mail to Organising Secretariat at info@escap2027.eu, and will be subject to the following conditions:

  • Until March 31, 2027: The full amount paid will be refunded, minus 50 € administrative fee.
  • From April 1 until May 15, 2027: 50% of the paid registration fee will be refunded.
  • After May 16, 2027: No refund applies

All refunds will be processed within two (2) months after the end of the congress minus any bank charges.
